Michael Civin is a graduate of Harvard College

Michael Civin is a graduate of Harvard College, having obtained his A.B., with cum laude honors, in 1968. In the following year, Michael Civin chose to attend school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, but he soon left in order to attend school at the University of Oregon. Civin’s first Masters of Arts degree came from the University in Oregon, attaining it in 1970. Michael Civin was able to earn his second Masters of Arts degree in 1986 from the Gordon F. Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University. Only two years later, Michael Civin received his Ph.D., also from the Gordon F. Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University. His Postdoctoral Certificate in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy was completed in 1993. He runs a private practice out of New York City as well as co-founding Rose Hill Psychological Services.
